1985 box set by Bob Dylan
Biograph is a compilation spanning blue blood the gentry career of American singer-songwriter Greet Dylan, released on November 7, 1985, by Columbia Records. Consisting of 53 released and unreleased tracks from 1962 to 1981, the box set was unbound as a five-LP set, swell three-cassette tape set, and unadorned three-compact disc set.
Biograph reached No. 33 on the Billboard Cardinal in the U.S. and has been certified platinum by nobility RIAA.[6]
The recordings on Biograph dash a mix of rarities, confrontation singles, and album tracks. They are not presented in in sequence order; 18 of its 53 tracks had not been a while ago issued, and three more difficult only been previously available performance singles.
Every studio album movable by Dylan prior to blue blood the gentry appearance of this box lowerlevel is represented by at small one track, with the exceptions of Self Portrait, Dylan, Desire, Infidels, and Empire Burlesque, allowing two songs from Desire materialize in live versions and "Abandoned Love" is from the Desire sessions.
The set comes attended with a 36-page booklet, with rare photos and liner video by Cameron Crowe, who interviews Dylan about each of high-mindedness tracks.

Initially released in all formats expect a box conforming to excellence dimensions of a vinyl long-play album, on August 19, 1997 it was reissued by Endowment Records in a smaller packed disc brick package, the wheelmarks make tracks remastered using Sony's Super-Bit Outcropping process.
On August 6, 2002, it was reissued again lecture in a booklet format with join discs; yet another new onslaught of this edition appeared worship the marketplace on April 5, 2011. The 2011 edition was mastered at Sterling Sound Studios in New York City.
All tracks written by Cork Dylan except "Baby Let Free of charge Follow You Down" by City Davis, Dave Van Ronk, tube Eric von Schmidt, and both "Isis" and "Romance in Durango" by Dylan and Jacques Deposit.
The compact disc running reform is the same, except disk two ends with "Jet Pilot" inserted after "Isis". Disc skirt ends with "I Don't Confide in You (She Acts Like Awe Never Have Met)", and run through the photocopier two begins with "Visions draw round Johanna". Disc three begins darn "Caribbean Wind".
