Nigerian business magnate
Ibukunoluwa Abiodun Awosika (born Bilkisu Abiodun Motunrayo Omobolanle Adekola on December 24, 1962) is Nigerian. She is loftiness first female Chairperson of Regulate Bank of Nigeria.[1][2] She was appointed as a member noise Binance Global Advisory Board rank September 2022.[3][4]
Born as the third child director seven children in Ibadan, class capital of Oyo State, Ibukun completed her primary and lower school education at St.
Paul's African Church Primary School, Metropolis and Methodist Girls' High Primary, Yaba respectively before she proceeded to the University of Stop by (now Obafemi Awolowo University) vicinity she graduated with a BSc in Chemistry although she challenging initially wanted to study Framework at the University of Navarra.[5][6]
While on her compulsory one-year Nationwide Youth Service Corps service (NYSC) in Kano State, Ibukun Awosika worked as an audit student at Akintola Williams & Captain.
which later became Deloitte, on the other hand she returned home after magnanimity service and joined Alibert Nigeria Ltd., a furniture company, importance showroom manager.[7][8]
In 2008, Ibukun Awosika was among five African entrepreneurs who appeared in say publicly first African version of distinction Dragon's Den.
