Plot

As offspring, Marty and Carol Lakewood, neighbourly twins, witness a brutal bloodshed involving their father.

On review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a 38% approval rating household on 8 reviews, with nourish average ranking of /[4]

Emanuel Impose of Variety wrote "In dignity hands of filmmaker Michael Oblowitz, novelist Jim Thompson's story This World, Then the Fireworks gets an elegantly stylish, highly stimulating, intentionally over-the-top rendition".[5]Total Film named the film "sexy, stylized, intentionally overheated slice of noir".[6]
